Your Role and Responsibilities

As the Social Services Director, you will :

  • Act as a liaison for residents’ social interests
  • Plan, organize, and direct the Social Services Department
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state standards
  • Address the medically related psycho-social needs of residents on an individual basis

    To thrive in this role, you should possess :

  • A positive attitude toward the elderly
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • The ability to collaborate with all levels of management
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or related fields (Sociology, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counseling)
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Long Term Care
  • At least 1 year of supervised Social Work experience in a healthcare setting
