Location : Cincinnati, OH

Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed structural drawings and plans using AutoCAD and OpenRoads Designer (MicroStation).
  • Translate engineering designs into precise, buildable plans for construction teams.
  • Assist engineers in bridge and culvert projects, ensuring plans meet MDOT and client requirements.
  • Maintain organized documentation and track revisions to ensure project accuracy.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, supporting transportation engineers and designers.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience as a structural detailer or CAD drafter in transportation / structural projects.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and OpenRoads ORD (MicroStation).
  • Experience in bridge and culvert design documentation.
  • Familiarity with MDOT or MDOT LAP standards.
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with engineers and team members.
