American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Baltimore, Maryland.

Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery night shift position requiring a compact or MD license and certification in C-EFM.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position is in the Labor & Delivery unit of a hospital setting
  • Night shift schedule working 3x12 or 4x12 hours (7 : 00 pm – 7 : 30 am)
  • Required to work every other weekend
  • Patient ratio is 1 : 2
  • Floating required to the Post Partum unit
  • Scrubs are provided to staff
  • Responsibilities include circulating and fetal heart monitoring in Labor & Delivery
  • Scrub or triage experience is preferred but not required
  • No more than 7 days of requested time off per 13 week contract is preferred
  • Holiday time off requests will not be approved; only one holiday time off request allowed
  • Must be willing to float to the Post Partum unit as needed
  • Candidates who were previously employed must be gone for at least one year to return as a traveler
  • Local candidates within 60 miles are accepted at a different rate

  • Active compact RN license or Maryland RN license required
  • Minimum of 2 years Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
  • At least 1 prior travel assignment required
  • Certifications required : BLS, ACLS, NRP, and C-EFM through NCC
  • Must have experience in circulating and fetal heart monitoring (FHM)
  • Two supervisor references required
  • Flu vaccine required for all employees
