Job Description

Position Summary :

This position is in a shared services environment based at Epiq's Overland Park, Kansas office and performs accounting functions in accordance with US GAAP. The position works closely with business unit and corporate personnel across Epiq's various locations to identify and address accounting issues in an ever-changing environment. This position also provides deliverables for internal audit, external audit, and statutory accounting purposes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Prepare and post revenue adjusting journal entries,
• Prepare and review monthly closing binders,
• Review and analyze contracts or other financial agreements for revenue recognition implications,
• Ensure revenue is supported by the respective customer contract,
• Ensure revenue is recorded in the proper period and in accordance with applicable accounting standards,
• Collaborate with various departments to gather necessary data or resolve discrepancies,
• Prepare deliverables for internal or external audit, as needed,
• Provide support for budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc analysis, as needed, and
• Identify and implement process improvements.

A typical work week is 40+ hours with overtime as required to meet business requirements and deadlines.

The Compensation range for this role is $90,000.00 to $100,000.00 USD annually and may be eligible for an annual bonus. Your specific salary will be determined based on several factors :
