The Integration Manager for M&A efforts is a newly created role at HFW, established due to our rapid growth. Reporting to the COO, this pivotal position is responsible for integration strategic planning during due diligence and leading the integration of newly acquired companies into HFW. The role ensures seamless integration, whether as a platform company or a fully integrated acquisition into a current platform company. It involves collaborating with due diligence teams, leading cross-functional efforts, and managing timelines, budgets, and resources. The Integration Manager will identify and mitigate risks, facilitate stakeholder communication, and support change management. With a focus on continuous improvement, this role requires strong leadership and project management skills to thrive in a dynamic environment.

    Essential Responsibilities :

  • Collaborate with the due diligence team to assess integration requirements and develop comprehensive integration plans.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to execute integration activities, ensuring alignment with HFW's strategic objectives.
  • Develop and manage integration timelines, budgets, and resources.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful integration.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between HFW, Partner Firms, and the prospective new company to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Develop and track integration key performance indexes (KPIs)
  • Monitor integration progress and provide regular updates to senior leadership.
  • Support change management initiatives to ensure employee engagement and alignment with HFW's culture and values.
  • Conduct post-integration reviews to identify lessons learned and opportunities for improvement.
  • Refine and enhance HFW's strategic integration plan by incorporating best practices, feedback from previous integrations, and innovative approaches to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Continuously evaluate and update integration processes to align with HFW's evolving business goals and market conditions.
  • Pre-Close Preparation : Lead integration meetings before closing to develop comprehensive integration plans and identify essential tasks that can begin pre-close.
  • Post-Close Execution : Oversee and drive the integration process, with a strong focus on executing key initiatives within the critical 0-90-day post-close period.
  • Sustained Integration Effort : Ensure all necessary steps are followed through beyond the initial transition, addressing challenges and optimizing long-term integration success.
  • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven experience in M&A integration, project management, or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of due diligence processes and integration best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Language Ability : Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to author reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
  • Math Ability : Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis.
  • Reasoning Ability : Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with abstract and concrete variables.
  • Computer Skills : To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of word processing software; spreadsheet software; and ERP database software.
  • Travel : Job holder is expected to travel on occasion for introductory meetings, member firm finance team touch base meetings and possibly on sight member firm assistance.
