Controls Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to design, develop, and implement control systems for various automation applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in custom automation, experience with HMI and PLC systems, and a passion for optimizing processes through innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop control systems for custom automation projects.
Program and configure PLCs and HMIs for various applications.
Conduct testing and validation of control systems to ensure performance and reliability.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing control systems and implement improvements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project specifications and requirements.
Document system designs, programming, and user manuals for future reference.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or related field preferred.

3+ years of experience in controls engineering or automation.

Proficient in PLC programming (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens) and HMI development.

Strong knowledge of control system design and implementation.

Experience with custom automation solutions and troubleshooting.
