Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to design, develop, and implement control systems for various automation applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in custom automation, experience with HMI and PLC systems, and a passion for optimizing processes through innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop control systems for custom automation projects.
  • Program and configure PLCs and HMIs for various applications.
  • Conduct testing and validation of control systems to ensure performance and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing control systems and implement improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project specifications and requirements.
  • Document system designs, programming, and user manuals for future reference.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in controls engineering or automation.
  • Proficient in PLC programming (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens) and HMI development.
  • Strong knowledge of control system design and implementation.
  • Experience with custom automation solutions and troubleshooting.
