As a Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to work in partnership with the Store Manager to develop outstanding associates, deliver exceptional and consistent customer experiences, and positively impact growth across Bath & Body Works. Our store leaders are the front line of our field leadership team : they're retail and customer-savvy, dedicated brand ambassadors, and thrive on the connections we make with our customers.
Responsibilities include :
- Attracting, hiring, developing, inspiring, and retaining top talent.
- Responsible for leadership tasks as delegated by the store manager including acting as manager on duty, when scheduled, to address customer experience, vendor relationship, or maintenance issues.
- Partnering with the members of the sales leadership team to support action plans that improve results and ensure effective execution of operational activities.
- Performing opening and closing routines including execution of bank deposits, receipt of shipment, and interpret / disseminate company directives.
- Setting the direction and goals for the day / shift when associates arrive for work.
- Providing individual and team performance feedback and recommendations to managers.
- Leading exceptional in-store customer experiences through demonstrating and modeling selling behaviors rooted in our values and elevated product knowledge.
- Creating genuine connections with customers through uncovering needs, sharing product information, demoing products, and making personalized recommendations.
- Training, coaching, rewarding, and motivating associates to improve selling and the customer experience.
- Reinforcing selling expectations, performance, results, and accountability with all associates.
- Constant physical activity, including standing, walking, reaching, and lifting.
- Consistently providing the most safe, clean, and engaging experience by adhering to all safety standards and expectations.
- Maintaining our values, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications include :
Proven experience delivering sales, customer experience, and operational results in a fast-paced environment.Prior experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a retail setting.Thrives in a customer-first based retail environment.Ability to foster a customer-focused selling culture.Effective communication skills, being open to feedback, and the ability to adapt quickly.Ability to provide in the moment coaching to associates.Ability to de-escalate store and customer situations effectively.Must be available to work peak days and times, including varied shifts of evenings, weekends, and holidays.Education :
High school diploma, GED certificate, or relevant work experience.Core competencies :
