Job Summary :

  • As a snow removal technician, you will be tasked with the snow removal throughout the property.
  • Including roads, driveways and walkways.
  • You will perform snow removal with vehicle mounted plow equipment, skid loader, snow blowers and snow shovels.

Job Duties :

  • Works with the facilities team with a positive and productive manner.
  • Assists manager with snow removal fulfillment and identifying safety concerns.
  • Pleasantly greet, make eye contact, listen, and respond appropriately to every member’s or members guest’s needs and or questions.
  • Operates vehicles and equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Abides by all rules of the road and safe speed for conditions.
  • Maintains a safe and clean work area.
  • Abides by operating procedures (pre-trip inspection, fueling & fluids checks, interior vehicle inspection and cleaning).

    • Core Competencies :

  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to stay on task with limited supervision.
  • Ability to safely operate motorized equipment.
  • Knowledge and experience in operation of various types of heavy equipment machines.
  • Working knowledge of and ability to use hand and power tools and other equipment.
  • Ability to comprehend and learn tasks associated with resort operations.
  • Knowledge of and ability to perform required role during emergency situations.
  • Willingness to work with others and promote a positive work environment.
  • Ability to use computer software programs (mobile time clock, online employee platform).

    • Classification :

  • seasonal, part-time / on-call, hourly Education and Licenses : Experience operating heavy equipment or doing snow removal with truck mounted plow or heavy equipment.
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Driver’s License, in good standing, required.
  • This position requires flexibility with nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • On-call and part-time positions are eligible for staff parties, wellness credit, discounted ski pass, meals, uniforms, staff discounts and to participate in the 401k (after four months of continuous employment).
  • Starting wage $22.55 / hr.
