About The Position

Must-Have : Level I trauma center experience, experience in general, ortho, spine, trauma, and neuro cases

Description :

The Operating Room Registered Nurse will work three 12-hour night shifts.

Charge experience is a plus.

The nurse will collaborate in an environment with a 1 : 1 patient ratio.

First-time travelers are accepted.

Weekend shifts are required as needed, usually every third weekend.

On-call requirements are not needed for this position.

The nurse will not be required to float to other areas.

Scheduling cannot be guaranteed, but the unit will attempt to accommodate preferences.

Local candidates are accepted.

Requests for time off require unit manager approval.

Guaranteed hours are 36 hours per week, with the facility allowed to call off six times throughout the assignment.

Candidates must have experience in a Level I trauma center OR with high-volume orthopedic, trauma, and spine cases.

Minimal pediatric experience is needed.

The facility values strong OR nurses capable of performing in multiple specialties.

The candidate must float to other areas as needed based on role and abilities.

Charting will be performed using Cerner.

All employees are expected to adhere to quality and patient safety standards.

Candidates must comply with submission processes within designated timelines.
