The stock / warehouse clerk provides personal care and professional excellence by unloading shipments, distributing supplies and materials, receiving supplies, driving hospital vehicles to deliver supplies, sorting and metering US mail and refilling hospital crash carts.

Job Duties :

• Moves pallet shipments of goods from trucks to loading dock and into Materials Mgt Department for Receiving.
• Distributes packages, copy paper, medical gas cylinders, UPS packages, Fed Ex Packages to all areas of the hospital, medical building & Rehab Services building.
• Safely collects and transports soiled linen container from Rehab Bldg to Soiled Linen Room off WCH Loading Dock; delivers clean linen & reprocessed instruments to Rehab Bldg.
• Flattens empty boxes and places in recycling dumpster.
• Properly moves furniture, equipment or record storage boxes or supply carts as needed.
• Safely collects & transports soiled instruments from Rehab Bldg to WCH Sterile Processing Dept; safely collects bags of used BP cuffs & used SCD cuffs for Recycling Shipments to reprocessing vendors.
• Replenishes Crash Carts w / Medical Supplies per MM Dept responsibilities under WCH policy, Crash Cart Refill Process.
• Sorts US Mail & Interdepartmental Mail into Dept Mailboxes; Meters outgoing US Mail.
