Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for night shifts requiring ARRT and BLS certification with at least 2 years of experience in CT and X-ray.

Responsibilities

  • Position is in an acute care setting with a focus on CT and X-ray procedures
  • Duties include performing CT scans and X-rays in the ED, on patient floors, CCU, OR, and PACU areas as needed
  • Night shift schedule of 7 nights on, 7 nights off, working alone after orientation
  • Shifts start at either 8 pm or 9 pm on weekdays and 6 pm to 6 am on weekends
  • Uses XIM software, X-ray equipment, and Epic EMR system
  • Orientation provided with a preceptor until competency is demonstrated
  • Position requires working independently after orientation is complete
  • Trauma level environment classified as Critical Access Hospital (CAH)
  • Scrub color is ceil blue
  • All staff must badge in and out at the facility
  • Candidates with a permanent address within 80 miles may be accepted with a local pay adjustment
  • Returning employees must have ended employment at least 6 months prior to consideration

    • Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist required
  • ARRT and BLS (AHA) certifications required
  • Must be able to perform both CT and X-ray procedures
  • Experience with Epic EMR preferred
  • License required if applicable
