Job Highlights :

We are looking for a registered nurse for our new Primary Care Wellness Clinic that will be located in Verona. A clinical background in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine is ideal.

Schedule : Days. No weekends / Holidays

Direct to Employer Services is a wellness clinics that works closely with certain districts or companies. This position is working at the wellness clinic for the Verona School District. The clinic is similar to a family practice or Primary Care clinic with a provider and staff on-site offering preventive services as well as acute. The main difference being that we would serve the school district staff.

DTE currently has multiple clinic locations throughout the area and is growing—hence this is a new clinic meaning this position would be housed in a new clinic that the school district will be providing.

Many say they have been in their role for awhile and during their time they see minimal staff turnover and a staff that embraces positive culture.

Job Summary :

Provides health care services to the organization's employees in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements :

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides treatments for job related injuries and related injuries
  • Conducts pre-employment health screenings and immunization clinics.
  • Ensures compliance with applicable workplace safety laws and regulations. May also conduct safety training programs.
  • Provides employee counseling and referrals for occupational injuries and illnesses as well as other health-related matters.
  • Monitors trends and causes of employee safety events and works with colleagues to identify areas of safety risk.
  • As an SSM Health nurse, I will demonstrate the professional nursing standards defined in the professional practice model.
  • Uses the ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses to guide his / her response to the current and evolving health and nursing needs of our patients and our patient populations
  • Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION

  • Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing
  • EXPERIENCE

  • Two years' registered nurse experience
  • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Constant use of speech to share information through oral communication.
  • Constant standing and walking.
  • Frequent lifting / carrying and pushing / pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
  • Frequent sitting, reaching and keyboard use / data entry.
  • Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.
  • Frequent use of smell to detect / recognize odors.
  • Frequent use of hearing to receive oral communication, distinguish body sounds and / or hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
  • Occasional lifting / carrying and pushing / pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
  • Occasional lifting / moving of patients.
  • Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting, gripping and repetitive foot / leg and hand / arm movements.
  • Occasional driving.
  • Rare crawling and running.
  • REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL LICENSE AND / OR CERTIFICATIONS
