Job Title : Clean Room Assembler

Job Description

The Mechanical Assembler will be responsible for assembling high-quality medical devices within a controlled, sterile manufacturing area.

Responsibilities

• Process polymer materials to compose, test, or apply on medical devices per approved manufacturing procedures.
• Assemble plastic and metal components into medical devices in accordance with approved manufacturing procedures.
• Perform in-process quality checks on subassemblies and finished products.
• Utilize small hand tools, calibrated instruments, measurement equipment, and microscopes.
• Participate in line meetings as needed.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to resolve line issues and suggest improvements.
• Maintain clean room integrity by using proper attire and adhering to clean room environment practices and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records / documentation related to quality, work in progress, test results, labor, and special projects.
• Apply workstation practices and line clearance in daily activities.
• Adhere to general safety rules, manufacturing procedures, company policies and procedures, QSR, and FDA regulations.

Work Environment

Work in a cleanroom environment wearing PPE all day. The professional and clean-cut culture requires no jewelry, makeup, eyelash extensions, fake nails, perfumes, or colognes. Business casual attire is expected. The first shift is from 7am-3 : 30pm, and the second shift is from 3 : 30pm-11 : 30pm. There is a 5-7 week training period.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Danvers, Massachusetts.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.20 / hr.
