Job Title : Special Education Teacher

Location : Berwick, PA 18603

Employment Type : Full-Time (Monday to Friday)

Salary : Starting at $65,000 for PA Special Education licensed teachers

Your Role as a Special Education Teacher :

  • IEP Development & Instruction - Create and implement IEPs, lesson plans, and instructional strategies that meet each student's individual needs and goals.
  • Documentation & Reporting - Timely submission of IEPs, progress reports, and evaluation documentation.
  • Collaboration & Communication - Partner with parents, multidisciplinary teams, and school staff to support student success.
  • Classroom Management & Behavior Support - Maintain a structured learning environment using behavior management and intervention strategies.
  • Assessment & Progress Monitoring - Track student progress through evaluations, assessments, and behavioral data collection.
  • Safety & Compliance - Follow all safety policies, including PPE use and confidentiality, while supporting students' self-care needs.

    • Required Qualifications :

  • Active PA Teaching Certification is required, such as a Private Academic Certificate or Level I / II PA Instructional Special Education Certification (K-12).
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
