About The Position We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for an OB / GYN Physician to join our healthcare team in Washington. This locum tenens role, starting on Oct 7, 2025, involves a 12-week assignment with an extensive focus on Maternal-Fetal Medicine and general OB-GYN services. You will be scheduled for 3-5 in-house shifts per month, primarily covering 24-hour calls from 7a-7a, ensuring comprehensive patient care and support. Job Details Location : Washington Start Date : Oct 7, 2025 LOA : 12 weeks Provider Type Needed : Obstetrics / Gynecology Physician Schedule : 3-5 OB Hospitalist shifts per month (IN HOUSE); 24-hour shifts (7a-7a) Responsibilities and Duties Provide continuous in-hospital coverage for Maternal-Fetal Medicine and additional OB-GYN services. Deliver prompt and efficient medical care to patients on the inpatient MFM service. Assist community OB-GYN physicians, including C-section support. Manage unassigned patients and provide emergency management for OB or GYN complaints. Offer backup support for Nurse-Midwives and Family Practice physicians handling obstetrics. Participate in patient-care conferences and maintain clear communication with other clinicians. Ensure accurate and timely documentation to facilitate proper billing and collection.
