Payroll Clerk

Description

The Payroll Clerk plays a key role in processing weekly hourly payroll. In this role, they will handle a variety of administrative tasks, including organizing reports, printing and mailing weekly and bi-weekly paychecks, and providing overall clerical support to the payroll team.

Responsibilities :

Process weekly payroll accurately and on time.

Prepare detailed reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and nontaxable wages.

Maintain and update employee records, process termination checks, and review / validate timecard entries.

Support the payroll team by contributing to related tasks and ensuring overall accuracy and compliance.

Perform other duties and projects assigned to meet department needs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (required)

Minimum of 1+ years of payroll experience (preferred)

Experience with JD Edwards software (preferred)

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

Solid working knowledge of Excel

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $29.00 / hr.
