What you'll do...
As part of the Growth Marketing team, the Sr. Marketing Manager will be focused on our Small Business brand, Block Advisors, and how we go-to-market to acquire gig businesses through our consumer campaigns which includes setting the strategy for all Small Business product offerings including Tax, Bookkeeping, Payroll and Business Formation. Growth of the Small Business products and services is a crucial piece of our enterprise growth strategy; this individual will play a critical role in connecting the dots between our Market Strategy partners and the Growth Marketing Team.
The Small Business Media Sr. Marketing Manager will lead the acquisition strategy for Small Business, coordinating with the Growth Marketing managers and agency partners to develop and execute on the annual Small Business plan across all products and services. This includes audience targeting, marketing channel selection, investment recommendations, reporting and analysis. The Sr. Marketing Manager will collaborate closely with the Small Business Market Strategy Director and pod to ensure the business strategy flows through to the growth marketing plan.

Lead the Small Business strategy for acquisition strategy inclusive of both rising small business and gig spanning from channel investment mix and fighting to partnering with the internal channel marketing leads and the external media agency on tactical plans
Partner closely with the Market Strategy team to understand and translate the strategy and ongoing business needs to the marketing channel leads and agency
Lead the SMB test and learn agenda in partnership with channel leads and agency partners
Analyze performance in partnership with channel leads reporting out a small business acquisition performance summary to leadership and pod weekly including key drivers of performance, insights, and recommendations for enhancements to improve overall effectiveness
Engage in the small business pod representing all acquisition marketing focused on small business products and services
What you'll bring to the team...
Education :
Work Experience :
6+ years of experience in paid media and organic marketing, creating integrated marketing plans. This can include expertise in marketing channels such as Paid Search, Programmatic Display, Paid Social, Organic Search, etc.
Experience in successfully navigating highly matrixed organizations
Strong communicator with exceptional project management skills, who thrives in a collaborative environment and has the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Motivated individual who consistently takes initiative and proactively seeks out opportunities to add value beyond core responsibilities
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, use of data to drive decision-making, and crafting data into a meaningful story
It would be even better if you also had...
Experience with marketing financial services / banking products
Experience operating as a brand manager, client-side in media, and / or in an agency / client relationship role
