The salary range(s) represents our good faith estimate for the role at this time. While we strive to provide competitive and transparent compensation, there may be circumstances where an offer is above or outside of the listed range.
Lead Programmer Developer | Pay Range : $109,500.00 - $142,250.00
Senior Programmer Developer| Pay Range : $95,200.00 - $123,700.00
Programmer / Developer II | Pay Range : $76,000.00 - $96,900.00

We're looking for Programmer Developers to join our growing teams—across both Financial Applications and IT Settlements —where you'll play a key role in shaping mission-critical systems that support credit management, regulatory rates, financial settlements, and congestion hedging auctions.
What You'll Do
Participate in the design, development, support, and maintenance of applications and databases that power financial operations.Enhance and support custom and vendor applications used to facilitate :Financial settlements for SPP's regional transmission organization (RTO) and contract services
Transmission congestion rights auctionsCollateral and credit managementRegulatory rate calculationsNetwork upgrade cost sharingCollaborate across the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and support.Work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to deliver scalable, efficient, and compliant solutions.Identify automation opportunities to streamline operations and improve reliability.To be successful as the Programmer Developer, we're looking for :
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, related field, or equivalent work experienceLead Programmer Developer - Ten (10) years of applicable Information Technology Development / Support experienceSenior Programmer Developer - Six (6) years of applicable Information Technology Development / Support experienceProgrammer Developer II - Three (3) years experience of Information Technology Development / Support experienceCompetent and effective working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Unix or Linux operating systems, application development and support, and database management systemsCompetent and effective troubleshooting, problem solving, and analytical skillsCompetent and effective written and oral communication skillsCompetent understanding and effective working knowledge of SDLC and project life cycle methods and practicesGood customer service and organization skillsPreferred

This is a full-time, hybrid onsite position based in Little Rock, Arkansas. Fully remote options may be available for senior-level candidates residing outside a 50-mile radius of Little Rock, Arkansas (Central Arkansas). The standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m., with occasional extended hours as needed.
Travel Requirement
This position requires minimal travel (approximately 10%).
