Our Summer Analyst program is a ten-week (June-August) internship program designed to provide an opportunity to experience the culture and atmosphere of Rockefeller Capital Management. Summer Analysts will be fully immersed in the day-to-day activities of the business providing opportunities to learn, grow, and excel. Key highlights of the program include :

Eligibility and Selection Criteria
To be eligible for consideration, students must be projected 2027 graduates and in good standing at the school. Analysts should have an interest in the financial services industry and be eager to learn and make an impact.
Position
Rockefeller Capital Management's Office of the CIO is looking for a Summer Analyst to support their business unit this summer on the Macro & Investment Strategy team. The Summer Analyst will learn about developing macro and market perspectives, formulating asset allocation guidance, and integrating top-down views into actionable ideas through differentiated implementation solutions.
Responsibilities
Actively participate in team meetings and investment discussions to gain insights into macroeconomic trends, market dynamics, asset allocation, and portfolio strategies.Contribute to research on tactical and thematic investment opportunities.Assist in the publication of asset allocation guidance across public and private markets.Collaborate with other teams within Investment & Client Solutions to strengthen the integration of CIO office thought leadership with the firm's investment platform, such as compelling solutions within alternatives.Utilize Excel and PowerPoint effectively and efficiently to prepare visualizations, charts, analyses, and summaries for presentations as well as internal research.Engage with advisor teams by responding to inquiries and providing timely, accurate information on the team's market views and positioning guidance.Qualifications
High school degree required.Pursuing a degree with a concentration in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics is desirable.Prior internship experience in the financial industry a plus.Skills
Demonstrate a strong interest in financial markets, investment research, and portfolio strategy.Display keen intellectual curiosity and innate comfort with exploring topics with open-ended answers.Exhibit extreme attention to detail.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to :Analyze data (e.g., multi-variable linear regression),Produce dynamic macro and market charts,Create visually appealing, polished, and effective presentations and content to ensure high-quality visual communication.Entrepreneurial and proactive mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.Ability to multi-task, reassess priorities, and be attentive to accuracy and deadlines.Ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable insights.Excellent interpersonal skills with a can-do attitude.Ability to exercise discretion with confidential matters.Programming experience a plus.Compensation Range
The anticipated hourly rate for this role is $38.00 / hour. Salary for the role will depend on several factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, and may fall outside of this rate.
