As a Security Officer - Access Control Driver in Beaumont, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical / Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in supporting security-related operations at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols to help deter incidents while remaining approachable and providing outstanding customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. Pay Rate : $12.75 / Hour

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Control access to the location by monitoring entry and exit points for authorized personnel, contractors, and visitors in accordance with site procedures.
  • Verify credentials and identification badges as part of access control operations to help deter unauthorized entry.
  • Assist with visitor management, including maintaining visitor logs and issuing temporary passes as required by site-specific policies.
  • Report and document any suspicious activities or unauthorized personnel attempting to access restricted areas.
  • Provide customer service by responding to inquiries and offering assistance to employees, contractors, and visitors.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and emergency responders during emergency response activities as outlined in site procedures.
  • Complete security-related reports and documentation in a timely and accurate manner as required by Allied Universal and site management.

  • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by TSA is required.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required per client requirements.
  • Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
