Poppins Payroll is hiring a Payroll Support Specialist to help customers with payroll and tax issues, set up client tax accounts, and assist with quarterly tax filings. You will be part of an amazing team of dedicated and kind people.

Responsibilities

• Answer client inquiries via email and live phone.
• Explain payroll, payroll taxes, our services, and our site to clients and prospective clients.
• Complete and submit online applications and reports to obtain client FEINs and set up state tax accounts.
• Assist in filing tax reports.
• Meet daily (virtually or in-person) with the team to discuss client services and company updates and improvements.
• Communicate with state and federal agencies about client accounts.

This job pays $60,000 per year. We cover 75% of health and dental premiums. You can participate in our 401K plan, where we match 50% of contributions up to 5% of your salary. You get regular holidays, sick leave, and 3 weeks PTO. You can split time between working from home and the office. We have a cool office in downtown Boulder with parking and easy access to Pearl Street. We hook you up with a laptop and monitor, so it's easy to move from office to home office. Whether or not you're in the office, we do a daily team Zoom (M-F) at 9 am.
