Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Panera Bread has a need for a full-time multi-craft maintenance mechanic to join our Fresh Dough Facility (FDF) in Jessup, MD. Our facility produces all of the bread, bagel, and roll dough for all of our bakery-cafes in the region. We are seeking a mechanic experienced in working within a manufacturing environment repairing, maintaining, and installing all types of bakery / food production equipment and machinery, as well as general facilities maintenance.

Responsibilities Include :

• Provides support to the production staff to minimize downtime and maintain high safety and quality standards.
• Manage and perform scheduled equipment Preventive Maintenance (PM) Program.
• Troubleshoot and repair all process equipment as safely, quickly and efficiently as possible.
• Initiates purchase order for equipment and facility needs.
• To work in a manner which is safe, clean, and well organized.
• Work a rotating shift with one day of weekend coverage.
