About The Position

Experience :

Minimum of 18 months recent Orthopedic Operating Room experience.

Must have 18 months permanent Operating Room experience prior to travel.

Strong experience in total joint procedures is required.

License :

Must have a valid license in hand.

Compact licenses are accepted.

Certifications :

BLS certification is required.

Must-Have :

Recent Epic charting experience (within the last 6 months) is required.

One recent reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required to qualify for submission.

Traveler must work at least every other holiday.

Description :

This position requires a minimum of 18 months permanent experience in the specialty applying for prior to travel.

Recent references from supervisory roles in the specialty applying for are mandatory for qualification.

The facility does not accept any license hits from background checks.

Candidates must clear a 10-panel drug screen within 12 months of start, which includes nicotine testing.

Badging and fingerprinting will be required prior to the start date.

All candidates will be subject to orientation and must complete necessary pre-start training modules.

An acceptable score on ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments is required during orientation.

Travelers will receive two attempts maximum to pass assessments; failure to do so will result in cancellation of contract.

Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return for 1 year from their previous end date.
