• Prior telemetry experience
• Ability to manage cardiac drips

Description :

This is a cardiovascular unit specializing in telemetry.

The unit has a total of 54 beds dedicated to cardiac monitoring.

The patient population primarily includes those with heart failure, heart attacks, strokes requiring cardiac monitoring, and other cardiac-related conditions.

Patients may also receive overflow medical care as needed.

The unit is equipped for remote telemetry monitoring.

Staff responsibilities include administering cardiac drips and monitoring the cardiac status of patients.

Team members collaborate with interdisciplinary support services including physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy.

The nurse-to-patient ratio may vary.

Weekend shifts will be required every other weekend.

Two out of three holidays must be worked.

First-time travelers are accepted.

Completion of required certifications prior to starting is expected.

All conduct issues will be taken seriously, and may result in contract termination.

The unit emphasizes a supportive environment for patient care.

Additional duties may include managing other related medical situations as required.
