Entry Writer

Job Summary We are seeking a talented and motivated Customs Entry Writer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong writing skills and a keen understanding of various industries, particularly in logistics.

Duties

  • Preparing and filing customs entries for imports / exports.
  • Communicating with customers, customs authorities & carriers.
  • Ensuring compliance with customs regulations.
  • Tracking shipments and managing documentation.
  • Maintaining accurate records, calculating duties and taxes
  • Monitoring customs entries, classifying goods.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in writing across various formats; experience in sales or logistics writing is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with transportation management systems and transportation planning concepts.
  • Excellent research skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear and concise content.
  • Proficiency in data entry and using relevant software tools for document creation and management.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
