Job Summary :

The PACU Clinical Coordinator is a clinically competent, registered professional nurse who prescribes, delegates and coordinates age specific nursing care to patients during their preoperative and postoperative experience through the nursing process of assessment, planning, coordination, implementation, and evaluation. Assumes responsibility for the management of clinical and support activities and the allocation of human resources of the unit on a designated shift. Coaches and supports the team in accomplishing the departmental and hospital mission and goals as prescribed. Ensures that care is delivered by those who are competent / trained to do so according to the patient population, level of technology required, complexity of the care needs and the age specificity of the patients. All RN’s are responsible for taking call as assigned, and should be able to return to the hospital within 30 minutes of being called back in.

Education :

Associates or Bachelors of Nursing required

Certification & Licensure :

Registered Nurse required

Experience :

1 to 3 years experience preferred
