Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Plastics Technician to join our dynamic team in Macomb, MI. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the production process, ensuring that our plastic products meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency. If you have a passion for manufacturing and a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate plastic molding machines and related equipment.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery.
  • Inspect finished products for defects and ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize production workflows.
  • Document production data and maintain accurate records.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in plastics technology is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Plastics Technician or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of plastic molding processes and machinery.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.
