Job Description
Develop advantageous sources of supply : purchasing materials, equipment, supplies and services, supervising Purchasing office operations and office and equipment repair. To oversee the internet-based ordering of office supplies and to see that they are ordered in the most timely and cost-effective way.
Place orders.
Follow through on orders to guarantee receipt of order.
Maintenance of reports to guarantee timely payment to vendors.
Facilitate timely payment of payments to hotels / event centers for events.
Work with vendors to obtain bids for purchases.
Arrange for large orders to be picked up at events.
College degree preferred.
Previous experience placing orders and maintaining a purchase order system preferred.
