Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An educational opportunity is available for certified Intervention Specialists to support students in both elementary and middle school settings. This full-time position, located in Medina, OH, offers the chance to work in a supportive environment focused on collaboration and student success. The role is contract-based for the nine-month school year.
Key Responsibilities :
- Deliver specialized instruction to students with diverse learning needs in self-contained, push-in, and pull-out classroom settings
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with state and district standards
- Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to enhance student progress
- Monitor student performance and adjust instructional strategies accordingly
- Maintain accurate documentation in pliance with educational regulations
