Temporary Engineer, Systems & Infrastructure Administrator-Bilingual (English / Spanish)
KPMG US is seeking a Temporary Systems Engineer, Systems & Infrastructure Administrator for a nine-month assignment to join our Digital Nexus technology organization.
Responsibilities
- Provide administration, maintenance, configuration, and ongoing support of server infrastructure hosting Enterprise Applications running Windows and Linux operating systems
- Resolve complex enterprise system hardware and software problems; collaborate with peer teams and vendors to coordinate solutions
- Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures; interface with business clients and technology staff to implement solutions that meet business needs and address the impact of new or revised applications on existing infrastructure
- Coordinate installation and testing of new enterprise system software and hardware releases
- Work directly with users to prioritize requests and provide regular updates on progress and estimated delivery timelines
- Coordinate escalation communication; develop and maintain project technical documentation including design, configuration, and installation
- Manage end-to-end application testing, defect management, change and release management, and escalation processes in a production support environment, including on-call, off-hours, and weekend support
- Provide patching operations support to Latin America member firms
Qualifications
Minimum one year of recent experience operating in a large enterprise environment with systems at scale; technical skills in Windows Server and Linux operating systems and working knowledge of SANsBachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred; full fluency in both English and Spanish is requiredProficiency in Microsoft technologies including IIS, Microsoft Cluster Service, Certificates and PowerShell; experience with VMware vSphere and Cisco UCS platform administration is a plus; strong troubleshooting skills using Windows OS toolsAbility to automate routine tasks using PowerShell and Python; experience deploying software across a server estateExperience with Datadog, SCOM, Qualys, and ServiceNow is a plusMust be authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship now or in the futureKPMG LLP and its affiliates and subsidiaries comply with all local / state regulations regarding displaying salary ranges.
