Position Overview :
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Integration Developer for an exciting Travel or Local job in Everett, MA
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain APIs to connect with third-party applications for data retrieval and ingestion.
- Build secure, scalable endpoints with proper authentication, version control, and messaging practices.
- Perform regular testing and validation of API integrations for reliability.
- Implement translation layers to map external data structures onto internal data models.
- Collaborate on data exchange standards such as Ed-Fi to promote interoperability.
- Enforce API service boundary best practices for security, reliability, and scalability.
- Work closely with Data Engineering, Database Administration, and Cloud teams to support downstream processes including Master Data Management (MDM), ETL workflows, reporting, and storage.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize integrations to ensure consistent data availability.
- Participate in code reviews and collaborate with development teams to ensure code quality and maintainability.
- Provide technical recommendations to align solutions with enterprise architecture and strategic goals.
- Support evolving data strategy by advising on data handling, system integration, and implementation approaches.
Required Skills and Qualifications :
Experience designing and building API integrations, preferably in education or public benefits sectors.Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, authentication protocols (OAuth, API keys), versioning, and API usage analysis.Familiarity with education data standards such as Ed-Fi or similar frameworks is highly desirable.Proven ability in complex data mapping and translation between different models.Understanding of secure API design and public service boundary best practices.Experience with data formats such as JSON and XML, and data service architectures including MDM, ETL, and reporting.Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI / CD pipelines.Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Java, Python, and Node.js.Knowledge of API protocols including REST, SOAP, and GraphQL.Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills with experience working with vendors and internal teams.Experience conducting code reviews and contributing to shared codebases.Ability to translate business goals into scalable, well-documented technical solutions aligned with enterprise architecture.Preferred Qualifications :
