About Workweek
Workweek is building the next generation of Operator Networks—where the sharpest minds in healthcare, HR, marketing, fintech, and ecommerce connect, learn, and grow. Our five Operator Networks bring together vetted leaders and practitioners who want a trusted space to ask the hard questions, share real insights, and build relationships that matter.
Our Approach
At Workweek, we build brands and audiences in specialized B2B sectors by providing expert content crafted by industry practitioners who have actually done the job. Once credibility and a sizable audience are established through our unique content, we further support these sectors by offering exclusive professional memberships. These memberships provide category-leading value, enabling leaders to connect with peers, access a comprehensive library of educational content, and utilize tools and services that streamline daily operations.
About The Role
As Community Manager, you will be one of the most visible leaders of our communities, making members feel welcome, seen, and energized. You will understand the unique vibe and value props of each community and design experiences that make them more valuable every single week.
This role is perfect for someone who loves connecting people, sees networking as both fun and impactful, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will get to interact with industry operators : from the marketers behind your favorite brands to Fortune 500 leaders. You will have a direct impact on these members’ experiences and will play a meaningful role in increasing engagement, retention, and NPS score for each Operator Network.
What You'll Do
- Be a Trusted Manager : Serve as the trusted go-to person for members across healthcare, HR, marketing, fintech, and ecommerce communities.
- Create and Host Events : Dream up and execute unique, high-energy events (both virtual and IRL) tailored to the culture and interests of each community. You will also support members who want to host events and initiatives themselves. Success here would look like more member-generated events vs Workweek operated events.
- Engage Across Channels : Be present wherever our members are. That may mean on the Workweek Operator Platform, at live events, and on social media. You know how to facilitate conversations to keep them vibrant, value-driven, and meaningful.
- Spot Opportunities : Read the room, identify sparks of energy, and turn them into initiatives or experiences that drive member engagement and retention.
- Drive Engagement and Retention : Own community onboarding and health metrics like engagement and retention. You’ll review data regularly, intuitively ask why, and enjoy iterating on programming to improve results.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally : Partner with Marketing to amplify community voices and with Product to help shape our Operator Networking Platforms around real member needs.
- Innovate Boldly : Propose and experiment with big ideas that make Workweek's operator networks stand apart in the market. You’re not afraid to say what if we tried this instead?
- Lifecycle Thinking : Keep members engaged from onboarding through renewal, using smart lifecycle marketing tactics and strong community-building skills.
