Overview

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking an individual to lead, plan, synthesize ambiguous or conflicting requirements, and perform block-level verification for complex, multi-feature designs using advanced verification techniques (sim, emulation). This role involves reviewing and refining testplan contents with the design team and verification leadership, constructing emulation-capable testbenches and components for use on emulation and prototyping platforms, debugging complex systems during verification, and performing initial triage of test and assertion failures. The candidate will work with design and microarchitecture teams to resolve issues, build monitors, checkers, and assertions, and ensure cross-platform usability by following coding guidelines for monitor components and creating reusable stimulus generation mechanisms. The role also includes achieving full test coverage, maintaining random stimulus generation to meet coverage targets, identifying coverage holes, and developing a functional coverage model to measure design features. Support unit-level testcases for porting to full chip bring-up, and build and support common testbench components and automation tools to increase verification efficiency. The candidate is expected to contribute strongly to design reviews and project meetings and implement development plans.

  • Telecommuting may be permitted. When not telecommuting, must report to Qualcomm's office location(s) in Raleigh, NC.

Responsibilities
