Pays up to 75-85K base to start + annual bonus

A New England leader of manufacturing and distribution has an immediate opening to join the team supporting a 200K manufacturing footprint with two shifts per day. This is a direct hire position.

This is a new role working side by side the owner / general manager. Eventually taking day to day operations to free up the owner. Business has increased by 45% last year alone. Extremely busy which requires an all hands on deck approach. Ability to execute flawlessly is required.

Responsibilities

Responsible for daily production to meet customer demands.

Responsible for all equipment maintenance and establishing a daily / weekly and monthly periodic maintenance schedule and staff the same.

Lead two shifts a day operation.

Hire, train and coach a diverse team. Ability to build your own team.

Responsible for all shipping and receiving and eventually taking control over the firm's front office.

Leadership of safety program for the entire business.

Instruct, document and provide oversight to associates in proper execution of all established quality, safety and sanitation practices of warehouse operations

Utilize progressive coaching and counseling concepts on performance,

Increase employee retention and improve employee relations.

Deliver on financial metrics and keep labor and material costs within targets.

Qualifications

Associates and or Bachelors Degree is required

Have led a team of employees before with experience in hiring, coaching and training team members

5-10 years of related production / manufacturing business

Proven leadership abilities

Knowledge of warehouse safety regulatory standards

Excellent Microsoft Office and computer skills applications preferred

Strong analytic, planning, facilitation, and problem-solving skills
