API INSPECTION PLANNER - Hybrid Home / Site position
- Must hold current API 510 and API 570
- 25% - 40% Travel depending on assignment
- Standard 40 hour work week with occassional OT opportunities
- This is a Planner position and the incumbent will be expected to create fully executable job plans from inspection scopes.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

Ability to read and understand P&IDs, ISO’s, piping isometrics, fixed equipment design packages, and pipe specs.Proficient in the use of computers and business software, including Microsoft (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook) OneNote, SAP, Primavera P6.Working knowledge of ASME B31.1, ASME B31.3, ASME Sec. I, and ASME Sec. VIII10+ years’ experience in maintenance and / or engineering disciplines, preferably with experience in industrial outages, exchangers, pumps, hydrotesting and pipe fabrication5+ years’ experience as a Mechanical Planner.Previous experience building execution work packages with detailed work plans including safety matrix, picture, P&ID, isometric, bill of material, etc.API 510 and API 570PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
Lead assigned portion of outage scope through planning and constructionDevelop scope for assigned work orders within the outage, identifying secondary and / or support disciplines required.Create detailed planning activities for each work order utilizing planning templates as applicable. Activities include individual tasks, Client, durations, and assigned discipline.Provide daily schedule updates during outage execution.Create job planning packages for each work order per guidelines for both internal and external distribution, e.g., bid events, contractor field personnel, etc. Packages may include pictures, P&IDs, BOMs, tools, safe work procedures, applicable standards, QC requirements, etc.Support Management of Change process, recognizing plant changes and following through on all documentation and recommendations in a timely manner.Provide contractor field management in all outage phases for assigned contractors, including safety, timesheet verification, field oversight, change orders, and QC verification.Uphold and communicate high standards of housekeeping in assigned areas and on all job sites. Conduct frequent formal housekeeping inspections of plant areas.Complete close out and documentation as required by the company standards and procedures.PERFORMANCE STANDARD :
Willing to work a wide variety of scheduled days and hours, following strict fatigue management guidelines.
