Perm Gynecologic Oncologist - Colorado Springs, CO

We are on the lookout for a dedicated Gynecology / Oncology Physician to become part of our established and high-volume practice at Memorial Hospital. Experience the opportunity to work with specialized staff and state-of-the-art facilities in a thriving community. Job Responsibilities :

  • Provide comprehensive care in a well-established practice with a steady flow of new patients.
  • Collaborate with a dedicated Nurse Navigator, GYN-specialized Radiation Oncologist, and other specialized professionals.
  • Offer education and support for patients regarding available clinical trials and research opportunities.
  • Participate in teaching opportunities with the University of Colorado School of Medicine, if desired.
  • Operate at a Level I trauma center with access to advanced technology including the da Vinci XI surgical system.
  • Manage an average patient load of 15-22 per day, primarily in an outpatient setting.
  • Share on-call duties with a schedule of 1 : 2, primarily on weekends.
  • Utilize EPIC EMR for efficient record-keeping.

Qualifications :

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB / GYN and Gynecological Oncology.
  • Fellowship-trained in Gynecological Oncology, with completion prior to start.
  • Active Colorado medical license or willingness to obtain.
  • Preference for candidates with a clean malpractice record.
  • DEA certification required before starting.

    • License and Certification Requirements :

  • Board Certification in OB / GYN and Gynecological Oncology.
  • Active Colorado license or eligible to obtain.
  • DEA registration must be acquired before commencement of employment.
