CNC Setup Machinist

Position Overview

This is a direct hire position!

We are seeking a CNC Setup Machinist as part of a new CNC department focused on aerospace tooling, fixtures, and composite trimming. This person will be responsible for precision setups, efficient tooling strategies, and supporting production from day one.

Responsibilities

• Setup 5-axis and 3-axis CNC mills (Fadal, DNM 750ii) for tooling, trimming, and part machining using carbon composite material (not metal)
• Interpret aerospace-level drawings and GD&T
• Perform tool changes, set offsets, and validate setup quality
• Support quick-turn and high-mix production needs
• Assist programmers with fixture validation and improvements
