About Us

We are a nationally recognized industrial general contractor specializing in complex, large scale construction projects across the manufacturing, distribution, and heavy industrial sectors. Our success is driven by a commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence . We are currently seeking an experienced Industrial Construction Project Manager to lead the planning and execution of a major industrial facility project in Chicago, IL .

Position Overview

As the Industrial Construction Project Manager , you will be responsible for managing all phases of project delivery from preconstruction and procurement to scheduling, execution, and closeout. You will play a key leadership role in ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget , and to all applicable quality standards. This position requires hands-on experience in industrial construction environments , strong coordination skills, and the ability to lead cross functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee day to day project operations including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and subcontractor management
Manage industrial construction projects from design coordination through final turnover
Work closely with Superintendents and field teams to ensure safe and efficient execution
Lead preconstruction activities including scope reviews, constructability input, and bid package development
Serve as the primary point of contact with clients, consultants, and trade partners
Prepare and maintain detailed project schedules and cost reports
Review construction documents and identify risks, conflicts, or cost impacts
Process submittals, RFIs, change orders, and ensure all project documentation is accurate and current
Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, safety, and quality compliance

Qualifications

5 plus years of project management experience in industrial construction

Proven experience managing large scale builds such as manufacturing plants, distribution centers, or processing facilities

Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, industrial systems, and heavy equipment installations

Experience managing project budgets, subcontractors, and schedules

Familiarity with Procore , Bluebeam , and project scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents

Strong leadership, communication, and problem solving skills

Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
