Pay Rate : $24.00 - 24.00 per hour

Summary

  • This is an entry level Validation Technician position.
  • Perform customer support activities involving the installation, preventative and corrective maintenance, and testing of electronic equipment and sub-systems used for monitoring nuclear power levels in the nuclear industry.
  • Test and verify the performance and required maintenance of assigned customer equipment.
  • Interact with customers and co-workers, typically working under general supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical testing of components, printed circuits, assemblies, and systems.
  • Document test plans, test procedures, and test results for each assigned job.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Assembly to ensure manufacturing, construction, installation, and operations conform to functional specifications and customer requirements.
  • Identify, diagnose, and repair electronic failures at the component level.
  • Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
  • Required Skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associates degree in a technical discipline is highly preferred
  • Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Electro-mechanical assembly experience is an advantage.
  • Technical Electrical / Electronics / Computer experience is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of ESD best practices.
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Ability to troubleshoot electronic circuits.
  • Experience building gaming computers or hobby electronics projects.
