Production Engineer

As a Production Engineer , you will be responsible for improving production processes to minimize losses, enhance yield, uptime, and efficiency rates. Using the scientific method and design of experiments, you will identify opportunities for improvement, implement solutions, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Collaboration with multiple departments will be essential as you support the plant's future state roadmap. Reporting directly to the Process Control Engineer Manager, you will uphold commitments to safety, environmental stewardship, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize production processes to reduce losses and improve yield, uptime, and throughput through strategic analysis and implementation of improvements.
• Update and maintain department procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Manage recipe control systems to improve production efficiency and consistency.
• Participate in engineering design reviews, providing insights to enhance processes and equipment.
• Conduct criticality analysis of equipment to prioritize maintenance and improvements.
• Assess and categorize production losses, collaborating with capability leaders to develop and implement solutions.
• Maintain cycle time data in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and SAP for accurate monitoring and analysis.
• Support strategic initiatives and the plant's future state roadmap by identifying and executing improvement projects.
• Contribute to site Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) goals through participation in corrective actions such as Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Management of Change (MOC), and Process Hazard Analysis (PHA).
• Ensure all projects adhere to the Delaware engineering project process to maintain quality and compliance standards.
