Job Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med / Surg Tele position, requiring a current NY RN license and recent acute care experience.

Responsibilities Work in a Med / Surg Telemetry unit within a tertiary care hospital

Unit assignment will be determined at the time of offer

Day shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week from 7 : 00 am to 7 : 00 pm

Every other weekend required

Patient ratio ranges from 1 : 5 to 1 : 7

EPIC EMR is used and proficiency is required

Floating between units is required

Holiday coverage is required, and no time off is permitted for Labor Day

Navy and white scrubs are required

Pre-start online modules must be completed, with up to 5 hours billable

Candidates will be part of a large hospital team environment

Requirements Active NY RN license in hand at time of consideration

Minimum of 1 year of Med / Surg Tele RN experience

Recent acute care experience within the past 6 months

Proficiency in EPIC EMR is required

No consideration for first-time US assignments

Candidates must live more than 75 miles from the facility
