As a Security Professional - Tech / Media Patrols PT in Wilmington, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you conduct routine patrols and remain visible throughout the site. You will also provide outstanding customer service and clear communication, supporting a welcoming environment for everyone on site. Pay Rate : $20.46 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTimeMon02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PMSat02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PMSun10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, which may include both indoor and outdoor areas.
  • Help to deter unauthorized activity by maintaining a visible presence throughout the assigned area.
  • Document and report any unusual observations, incidents, or maintenance needs encountered during patrols.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns specific to a tech and media environment.
  • Follow all post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal and site management.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and / or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
