Summary :

We are currently representing a commercial contractor in search of an experienced Traveling Superintendent t o manage daily operations on commercial tenant improvement and ground-up construction projects. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who take pride in quality execution, enjoy being on-site, and excel at leading subcontractors and maintaining schedules across multiple job sites.

Responsibilities :

Oversee daily field activities and subcontractor performance

Enforce construction plans, timelines, and project documentation requirements

Maintain site safety practices and update safety logs regularly

Schedule and manage project inspections with local agencies

Submit clear, accurate daily reports and field logs

Support the project team with budget tracking and change order management

Monitor project quality, conduct final walkthroughs, and manage punch lists

Coordinate deliveries and installations of owner-furnished equipment

Requirements :

5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction

Strong background in retail construction is preferred

Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP plans

Experienced in managing field safety, jobsite coordination, and project timelines

Open to night shifts or swing shifts based on project needs

Must be able to travel to projects throughout AZ, CA, and NV

Physically capable of navigating active construction sites and equipment use

Qualifications :

Excellent leadership and communication skills

Ability to handle complex jobsite challenges with efficiency

Comfortable using digital field documentation platforms

Detail-oriented, reliable, and self-directed in day-to-day responsibilities
