Medical Assistant
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Certified Medical Assistant to join a busy urology practice in Framingham, MA. This is a long-term opportunity supporting up to four physicians in a fast-paced clinical environment. The ideal candidate will be dependable, skilled in taking vitals, and comfortable with urology-related procedures.
Key Responsibilities :
- Interview patients and document medical history
- Take vitals : blood pressure, weight, temperature
- Assist physicians during exams and procedures
- Collect and prepare lab specimens
- Administer medications and perform basic lab tests
- Perform catheter changes, urodynamic studies, and pessary fittings
- Maintain clean and stocked exam rooms
- Educate patients on medications and special diets
- Draw blood and administer RIMSO treatments
