Core Engineering - Materials Engineer II

Location : Onsite in Redmond, WA

Introduction

We are seeking a skilled Materials Engineer for a temporary assignment to support ongoing projects in materials science and engineering. This role is ideal for an independent contractor or temporary worker and is not a full-time employment opportunity. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and uphold the highest standards in the development and application of materials for optical components.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
• Master’s degree or higher in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience in materials research, development, and testing
• Able to work in a chemical laboratory or cleanroom environment, and operate tools for conducting experiments and collecting metrology data
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
• Authorization to work in the United States
