This position fundamentally identifies, documents, and demonstrates the optimal user experience through design activities / deliverables, which are aligned with the business requirements and solution scope. The designer may work with a variety of software development teams. The role of the user experience designer is complementary to and synergistic with the role of the business and functional analysts and the designer may take on design tasks across multiple projects.

Responsibilities

Encourages a culture of user-centered design and knowledge sharing

Communicates visually through drawings, diagrams, wireframes, prototypes, and flow charts

Participates in user testing and validation

Supports design activities as needed
