We are seeking an experienced Associate Clinical Operations Director to support a multi-site healthcare organization. This is a unique leadership opportunity for a licensed ARNP or PA in Florida who is passionate about advancing community healthcare and ensuring the highest standards of patient care across multiple clinical locations.
Position Overview
Reporting to the Executive Director of Health & Human Services, the Associate Clinical Operations Director provides operational leadership, regulatory oversight, and program coordination across healthcare facilities. This role oversees clinic supervisors, case management teams, and program operations, ensuring consistent quality of care, compliance, and operational excellence.
While primarily a leadership position, the Associate Clinical Operations Director may also deliver direct patient careincluding diagnosis, treatment, and preventive servicesas needed to support continuity of care. The role requires extensive travel (vehicle provided), flexibility, and the ability to serve as the Executive Directors right hand in both clinical and community-facing responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee clinic operations, regulatory compliance, and program delivery across multiple sites
- Supervise and develop clinic supervisors and case management staff, including scheduling, performance evaluations, and training
- Develop and implement goals, strategies, and budgets aligned with organizational priorities
- Ensure adoption of safety protocols, best practices, and quality control standards
- Serve as a trusted advisor and leader, promoting efficiency, communication, and collaboration across departments
- Provide direct healthcare services (diagnosis, treatment, preventive care) as needed
- Represent the health organization at community meetings and functions
Schedule & Travel
Home base may be any clinic (Hollywood, Big Cypress, Brighton, or Immokalee)Rotating schedule : 1 week at each site, with travel built into the workdayHours : 8am5pm at home base; 9am4pm during travel weeks (with travel time included)Flexibility required, including some evenings, weekends, and holidaysA take-home vehicle is provided for work-related travelQualifications
Florida-licensed ARNP or PA requiredBachelors degree in Public Health, Health Administration, Healthcare Management, Nursing, Business Administration, or related field required; Masters degree preferredMinimum of 7 years of healthcare or community health facility experience , with at least 5 years in a supervisory or management roleValid Florida Drivers LicenseStrong leadership and delegation skillsExcellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilitiesAnalytical problem-solving capabilities and proficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteWhy Join?
