About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with Flight experience to join Respiratory Care Services team. This position supports critical care transport and advanced respiratory management including Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics populations in a high-acuity flight environment.

Job Requirements

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential

Active VA State Respiratory Therapist License or Compact License

Minimum of 1 year of critical care experience, including ER and ICU settings

Flight experience required for Pediatric / NICU transport with Level 4 NICU expertise

Ability to safely meet flight weight restrictions (must not exceed 235 lbs in street clothes)

Proficiency with Cerner or similar electronic charting systems preferred

ACLS and BLS certifications required

Must be able to interpret ABGs and manage advanced ventilatory support
