Must-Have :

• Interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Management of dysrhythmias
• Use of Rapid Response Teams
• Peripheral line care / management
• Nasal cannula and oxygen administration
• Non-invasive airway management
• Isolation precautions

Description :

BLS and MS / Tele certifications are required.

Candidates must have experience in cardiac monitoring and emergency response.

Responsibilities include interpretation and management of dysrhythmias and use of rapid response teams.

Nursing duties include providing IV therapy and phlebotomy.

Familiarity with respiratory care, including nasal cannula and oxygen therapy, is essential.

Experience with patient populations that include cardiovascular and wound care is expected.

The unit has a patient ratio of 5 to 1 during day shifts, with a stretch to 6 or 7.

Night shift ratios are 6 to 7, stretching to 8 or 9.

Floating to medical-surgical, ICU, or ED is required, but staff will only care for Med / Surg level patients.

All travelers are expected to float as part of the staffing model.

Availability for every other weekend is mandatory.

Epic experience is preferred.

No pending licenses will be accepted.

All travelers are required to complete pre-start modules and training prior to beginning their role.
