We are seeking a Panel Shop Supervisor to join our well-established and growing team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and supervising the daily operations of our workshop and production facility. This position requires a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to guide a team of skilled technicians and fabricators to meet quality and production goals.
Job Duties Include :
- Manage and coordinate the work of assemblers, providing daily guidance, training, and support.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to electrical wiring, assembly, and testing.
- Develop, implement and enforce shop policies, procedures and safety protocols to maintain a clean, efficient and organized work environment.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and address any performance or disciplinary concerns.
- Maintain inventory of tools, materials, and supplies; ensure all equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and address technical challenges as they arise.
- Develop and document assembly procedures to ensure all work meets established quality standards.
- Utilize calipers and other measuring tools to inspect products and materials for accuracy and quality.
- Interpret and work from schematics and technical drawings to plan and execute assembly tasks.
